Shri. Shirish Deshpande, CEO and Cofounder, BUCCS, is the pioneer of Buldana Urban Management Services Pvt. Ltd. Shri. Deshpande has accompanied Radheshyamji Chandak(Bhaiji) since the inception of the Buldana Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. His expertise is in the area of management; a few to name are strategic, retail, structured, corporate finance and HR. He has played key role in the implementation of Buldana Urban’s Producer to Consumer’s scheme, which has been considered and rewarded as unique model for farmer’s need. His commitment, discipline and empathetic approach has resulted in an excellent team work. He always prefers humanity over economics.

He is also the Chairman of Pune Commercial Cooperative Bank. And currently playing vital role on various think tanks and committees formed by Govt. and RBI on reforms in Cooperative Sector.

Shri. Suvrat Deshpande has 10+ years of experience in development and banking sector. He is passionate and has firm understanding in sectors like financial inclusion, digital payments and development sector. He has started his career as SHG program (Microfinance) Head with Sava Mandir and a nongovernmental organization working in Rajasthan. Post his Post graduation in Rural Management Suvrat Joined banking sector, he has played role in business development, new operations set up, channel partner and digital banking platforms. Suvrat has finished his second Master’s degree from University of Exeter, (UK) and joined BUMSPL as Executive Director and cofounded along with Mr. Shirish Deshpande. Currently he is working on research paper title with “To what extent impact investment is an adequate tool to support social Entrepreneurship in India”.

Vidhyadhar Hardikar

Independent Director

Shri. Satishchndra Vidyadhar Hardikar is a senior Banker with 35 years of experience in Public Sector Banking. He holds Master’s Degree of Commerce. He is certified associated of the India Institute of Banking and Finance. He is also a diploma holder in international banking and certified in Trade Finance, Financing of SME, Credit Card, Facilities for NRI and BCSBI. Shri. Hardikar was retired as Chief General Manager – Industrial Relations from Bank of Baroda. He was associated with Bank of Baroda for over a period of 35 years and retired as Chief General Manager in 2018.Shri. Hardikar also serving as a board on the board of Directors of Thane Bharat Sahakari Bank.

Shri. Shirish Deshpande, CEO and Cofounder, BUCCS, is the pioneer of Buldana Urban Management Services Pvt. Ltd. Shri. Deshpande has accompanied Radheshyamji Chandak(Bhaiji) since the inception of the Buldana Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. His expertise is in the area of management and extends to other aspects of corporate governance, from strategy and retail to HR. He has played a key role in the implementation of Buldana Urban’s Producer to Consumer’s scheme, which has been rewarded for being a truly unique model that satisfies the farmer’s needs. His commitment, discipline and empathetic approach has resulted in an excellent team work. He always prefers humanity over economics.

He is also the Chairman of the Pune Commercial Cooperative Bank and plays a vital role as a member of various think tanks and committees formed by the Govt. and RBI on reforms in the Cooperative Sector.

Suvrat Deshpande has a vast experience of 12+ years in NBFC, banking, and development. ‘When hard work meets passion, it results in excellence.’ He is the perfect example of this maxim. The organisation is progressing seamlessly with his deep knowledge of financial inclusion, NBFCs, BCs, digital payments, and the development sector. His career began as the SHG Program Head (Microfinance) at Seva Mandir, an NGO in Rajasthan. Post-graduation in Rural Management equipped him to play multiple vital roles in business development, new operations setup, channel partnerships, and digital banking platforms. After securing another master’s degree from the University of Exeter (UK), Suvrat joined BUMSPL as our Executive Director in 2018.

Currently, he is working on a research paper titled “To what extent impact investment is an adequate tool to support social entrepreneurship in India.”
