As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, YES Bank in collaboration with Buldana Urban Credit Cooperative Society had undertaken an important social project of installing water Purifier in 2015 with an objective to benefit more and more people by providing safe water in rural and urban outfits in and around cities and towns of Maharashtra. Under this project it was decided to install water purifier at various public places where there is a need of pure and safe water. The districts selected for this project were Pune, Satara, Sangli & Kolhapur.

Around 100 water purifiers of different capacity ranging from 100 LPH (capacity) to 500 LPH were selected and installed. The first installation of water purifier was completed on 09/01/2016 at Sahu Mahavidyalaya, Kadamwadi, Kolhapur and Matoshri Vruddhashram, Kolhapur. Almost a lac people were benefitted from this initiative.

‘Living Guard’ provided the devices and monthly maintenance services. Generally, we do follow a practice; if we get a call from beneficiary management we promptly inform ‘Living Guard’ about the specific issue. Their staff then visits site and reports about the solution provided. Later, we recheck with the management of beneficiary (this happens over telephone). Also, our local branch staff visits on regular basis to sites where water purifiers are installed and reports to Social Responsibility Head if any deviations are found.
